We ordered the classic Chanpon for 560 yen (excluding tax) with double the noodles for free. We were tempted by the offer for a side of gyoza, but decided to stick with just the Chanpon. After a short wait, the buzzer rang and our meal was ready. The bowl was huge with plenty of vegetables covered in a white soup, topped with red and white kamaboko and small shrimp. The noodles were satisfyingly thick and when lifted, steam rose up vigorously. The soup had a rich flavor from the sweetness of the vegetables and the savory seafood, and the crunch of the vegetables added a nice texture. Before we knew it, we had finished our entire meal. According to their website, a regular serving of Chanpon includes 200g of noodles and 255g of domestic vegetables, totaling 683kcal (41kcal from the soup). The double noodle Chanpon includes 400g of noodles and 255g of domestic vegetables, totaling 1,032kcal (57kcal from the soup). Surprisingly, the vegetable-filled Chanpon with 200g of noodles and 480g of domestic vegetables totals 831kcal (52kcal from the soup). In the end, the vegetable-filled Chanpon offers more quantity with fewer calories compared to the double noodle option. Next time, we may opt for the vegetable-filled Chanpon when we're feeling hungry. We'll definitely come back again.
