Yóu Bù Dǎo Chá Wū - 竹富町

The main attraction of the restaurant is the crossing to the island, but the island itself is a peaceful and nature-filled place. However, the business sense is strong, as the staff tried to sell commemorative photos with the water buffalo to all visitors. During my visit, there were three groups of solo travelers and one foreign couple, so they politely declined everyone except the foreign couple. The service was great and the shikwasa and pineapple juice were delicious – I ended up drinking three cups. The banana from the island's shop was also rich and moist.

You can experience a wonderful experience that you can only have here by crossing the shallow sea to the island on a buffalo cart. From Ishigaki Island, it costs about 5,000 yen to take a public bus. If you go between April and September, the Yaeyama sightseeing ferry's public bus free plan is a great deal at 4,500 yen with a web discount. If you go on a tour, you may have to share a car with others and there may be noise, but depending on the date and time, you can enjoy almost exclusive use with live sanshin music playing gently in the background. If you show your entrance ticket at the restaurant, you can get a free daily juice for each person. Since there are only four public buses a day, make sure to plan your itinerary with extra time.

石垣島から水牛に揺られて由比島のメインスポットの植物園です。 レストランやカフェ、お土産売り場もあります。 南国の植物が多数見られ良かったです。 良い旅の思い出ができました。
