ラーメン Shén Tián - 大多喜町

I visited this restaurant on a weekday afternoon and in my opinion, the taste of this kind of ramen is quite unique. Depending on the timing, there may be a line, but everyone leaves promptly after finishing their meal, and the staff quickly take your ticket from the machine and serve your ramen promptly after seating. So the turnover is pretty good. On this day, I chose the salt ramen with lots of toppings, and it was quite a generous portion. The broth was rich and thick. There are condiments such as garlic, sesame, shichimi, and black pepper available for flavor customization. It's easy for a solo female diner to enter, the entrance is small and there is only a counter, but the service is friendly and attentive, which will surely attract more customers in the future.

I had the aged soy sauce ramen for lunch. The soy sauce had a rich flavor of dried fish, and as I slowly mixed it into the mild soup, it became a delicious and fragrant taste. The boiled cabbage added a nice texture and accent to the dish. The thick noodles also paired well with the rich soup. It was great that the extra-large serving was free. With a long history, "Mumei" is a restaurant that I became aware of over 10 years ago when Koganebou opened nearby. I had always wanted to visit but never had the chance until today. The vegetable miso ramen was delicious! The soup had a nice thickness and the flavor of the vegetables really came through. Mixing in the soy sauce paste brought a whole new dimension to the ramen. Both options were so good that it was hard to choose between them. The meat was tender and well-prepared. I added an extra 200 yen for extra vegetables, which were generously portioned and cooked perfectly with a hint of sweetness. The tomato and green onion topping was unexpected but it paired nicely with the ramen. This ramen had an Italian twist that was surprisingly delicious. It completely changed my perception of what a ramen restaurant could be. It was a truly enjoyable dining experience. Thank you for the meal! I look forward to coming back again!
