The restaurant has a very Showa-era style both inside and out. The interior is spacious with a counter, raised seating areas, tables, TVs, and manga books. The owners, a husband and wife team, have a calm demeanor. I decided to splurge and ordered the Ramen Sushi Set B for 1270 yen. The ramen was a classic Showa-style with thin, curly noodles and a strong, chicken-based broth. It was rich in flavor but not too salty, and tasted great with some table pepper. The sushi was made right in front of me using a traditional sushi bar setup, and it was really delicious. The menu offers a variety of options including sushi, Ramen Sushi Set A for 800 yen, various set meals, and the highly recommended pork cutlet rice bowl. I definitely want to come back again. There are beer taps at different locations, and it seems like a lively local izakaya with regular customers.
I had a delicious ramen and sushi set that made me happy. It's been a while since I've been here. I had the miso ramen, which tasted authentic. It was delicious.
