Papa Grill - 高根沢町

Updated on 2018/5/8: I heard that they also offer takeout service, so I decided to visit again. I had cheese naan and green naan for dinner. The chewy and slightly sweet naan paired well with the saltiness of the cheese. I visited for lunch and ordered the chicken curry and tandoori chicken set for 900 yen, and added cheese naan for 470 yen. The mild curry, crispy and chewy naan, and cheese-filled naan were filling even for children. The only drawback is that the set menu may be a bit confusing. It would be easier to understand if they mentioned how much each additional item costs when added to the base curry.

This is authentic Indian cuisine! The staff are all Indian and very friendly! I want to come back for lunch next time!

The food is very delicious. There are different levels of spiciness from mild to medium, spicy, and very spicy. Each table has spices available for adjusting the spiciness, so you can make it spicier later on. For children, you can start with a mild spice level and add more after serving to enjoy the meal. The naan bread is very tasty, sometimes leaving leftover curry. The staff are all foreigners but they can speak Japanese in broken sentences and are very friendly! They always have a smile on their faces, making it a great place for children. I highly recommend this curry restaurant!
