Jū Jiǔ Wū Jǔ - 勝浦市

My first time in Katsuura, my first time at Keyaki, my first time having tantanmen with tare sauce - it was delicious! It didn't feel too spicy at first, but as I kept eating, the heat hit my throat and made me sweat. I repeated this a few times, and eventually finished every last bite. It was really tasty, incredibly delicious. I recommend it because it's easy to eat. The soup was mild compared to regular tantanmen. I didn't try the yakisoba that my friend offered me, but it looked delicious. The ramen that my kids had looked really tasty too!

Is this a hidden gem? The Katsuura tantanmen was delicious. I was happy that they accepted cashless payments. The only thing was that my child wanted to know how to eat the chashu on the tsukemen before adding shichimi... but it was delicious.

On a Saturday evening in April 2021, I had a long wait for the train at Katsuura Station. I decided to try Katsuura tantanmen since I was already there, and visited this restaurant that was not far from the station and had a good reputation. The sweetness of the onion and chives combined with the sweet and spicy soup was delicious.

The Tanba-yaki soba, grilled dishes, fried dishes, and of course, the Katsutan udon are all delicious.
