It was just as the sign advertised, and the menu for okonomiyaki was so extensive that it was a bit difficult to choose. The owner was friendly and talkative, and even without any appetizers, the alcohol went down smoothly. In the midst of our conversation, the owner also recommended a nearby snack bar, making it a satisfying night in Etajima.
You can enjoy generous and high-value okonomiyaki here. The menu is extensive, offering sashimi, yakitori, and deep-fried tofu along with typical izakaya dishes. Smoking is allowed in the restaurant, which is a plus for smokers. However, because there is only one owner running the place, the service can be a bit slow.
The okonomiyaki is delicious, but it takes a bit of time because the owner makes it by himself. The izakaya menu is also great, so it's worth going for the izakaya experience as well.
