とんかつ Fāng Sōng - いの町

This is a delicious restaurant of tonkatsu located on the ginger grill street. I wanted to eat tonkatsu, but since it's on the ginger grill street, I tried the miso pickled ginger grill instead. It was priced at 1280 yen. It doesn't really taste like ginger grill, but it was well marinated in sweet miso and had a hearty flavor that goes well with rice. It comes in a rice bowl with a generous amount of rice. It was quite a large portion. However, 1280 yen may be a little expensive. 980 yen would be better. Also, it's self-service, but coffee after the meal was free.

The miso katsu set meal is also delicious (image is miso fillet). The rich miso sauce pairs well with the rice and tastes great when mixed with cabbage.
