Feedback gevenYou order near the entrance and pay in advance before taking your seat. The Nabe-yaki udon with large shrimp tempura and fried tofu soaked in Kansai-style broth is delicious. It warmed me up and made me feel cozy.
After purifying my mind and body at Taga Shrine, I wanted to eat some long-life soba, but unfortunately they were sold out for the day even though it was midday. Feeling disappointed, I noticed the menu for Nabeyaki Udon and decided to order without hesitation. It seemed to be a popular place as it took a bit of time from seating to receiving our order. Steam rose from the hot iron pot as the soup was rich with the flavor of bonito and sweetness. Although the light broth of Kansai may not be familiar to those from Kanto, it was delicious. I savored the plump shrimp and sweet fried tofu until the last bite, and personally, I loved the deeply flavored shiitake mushrooms. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
I stopped by for lunch on my way back from visiting Taga Taisha. They had various menu items including udon, soba, and rice bowls. I ordered the katsudon. The crispy coating and sweet and savory flavor of the beaten eggs were delicious. However, I was disappointed to find out that the katsu was just a frozen, pre-made product that you can buy in stores. It came with pickles and cost 900 yen, which seemed a bit pricey. If they are charging this much, they should either use homemade tonkatsu or lower the price if they are using frozen products.
こじんまりしたお店 とても出汁が美味しくて鍋焼うどんサイコー
多賀大社の参道にある食事処です。 かなり歩いてヘトヘト状態で、休憩がてらお昼にしようと入店、どうやら一押しの鍋焼きうどんを頼みました。 さてお味は・・・。 んんんんー! うんまいじゃないですか!疲れた体に染み渡る~。 グツグツと煮えながら出てきた出汁は程よく効いており、やわらかめのうどん麺と相性ぴったんこカンカンカーンです。 今も昔も、歩き疲れてお腹減って、ようやく座ったお店で食べるおうどんが、美味しくないわけがないですよそりゃーね。 そんなわけで5つ星ですが、そういうロケーションがバイアスをかけていないとは言えません。だけどそういう条件が加わる場所ですので仕方ない。きっと皆さんも同じ思いをなさると思います。 あ、今は12月です。夏に鍋焼きうどんは止めておきましょうね。
