Jiǔ Cài Wū Yuán - 西之表市

This is a snack-style izakaya. The entrance is ... a door that doesn't look like an izakaya, but don't worry, just open it. The mama-san and everyone at the shop welcome you warmly with a smile. There is no menu. Small dishes automatically come out, so if you tell them your budget and what you want to eat (meat, fish, etc.), they will adjust it well for you. When I asked for local food from Tanegashima, they served me elephant shrimp, squid, and turban shell. It was really delicious. It seems to be a shop loved by locals, and I would like to visit again.
