This is the perfect place to have a coffee on the beach, at sunrise (opening hour: 8;00...still). The food is fresh and good, quite expensive though and waiting time last a lot. There are rooms also, but the beach is full of tents in the summer. Best time to be here is end of season. Pretty wild, no facilities for sports or something, rather a hippy atmosphere.
There are not a lot of places in 2 Mai where you can serve food and enjoy a beautiful scenery. The Little Gulf has nice waiters, the food came rather quick. There is also a playground for kids and there is a big diversity of foods, for fish or non-fish lovers.
Went there for lunch with a couple of friends today. We did not hit the rush of a top hour so service was quite fast. I had a rather standard veggie salad ( tomatoes, cucumber, ball pepper, 1/2 egg, 3 olives and a bit of...More
I now this place since quite a few years and while one must agree that service is not always the best - hard to find good staff, or if one may prefer the original style, prior redecoration, it does offer a good standard of service, food and beverage.Indeed, in crowded days/ evenings, one must expect a longer time for being served.Fish is always fresh and in case they sometimes do not have all the types of fish listed in the menu, is exactly because they do not keep frozen fish but only fresh.Music has been always great, the kind of people hanging around are fine and the play ground aside is just great.Adults can enjoy the nice atmosphere, good music and food, while kids are having a good time and making new friends, with no need to constantly keep an eye on, or worry for them.
