Tokyo Tavern is hands-down the best Sushi Restaraunt in Dutchess County…and maybe even the entire Hudson Valley. I lived in Manhattan for 20 years, and I can say with confidence that Tokyo Tavern bests 95% of the sushi restaurants in NYC. So being the best in the Hudson Valley is actually a layup in that context! I have been to Japan, and Tokyo Tavern holds its own even amongst the best sushi restaurants in Tokyo and Kyoto. A nice restaurant in a well-decorated home and generous portion sizes. The service was good and the food was good.

Food was delicious. Cool atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable

Absolutely the best sushi I’ve ever had. It is extremely fresh. The people there are so nice. Presentation was amazing. I highly recommend this adorable place. I’ve never eaten and only taken out.
