Domkeller - Aachen

Domkeller is cult, institution in Aachen, I know since 1981, there was still a disco in the basement. But even after many evenings and nights there is always the quality of the workforce, its professionalism and the positive mood there in general. I only know children's beer there as a small 0.2 beer; the great cultural commitment of the Domkeller with its Monday concerts and the series of court concerts should not be unnoticed. I had the honour to fight the Monday concerts there several times. Last but not least, it is a pub where several generations can meet quite undisputedly and still feel comfortable, which has a rarity value! Oh, yeah, I met my future wife there too...

When the S-Class was parked in 1980, I could breathe a very special air with 16, one of my first beers. What we have celebrated, sung, laughed, discussed countless hours, chatted, spoken, stolen and worn again, flirted and cried, arranged us and met others, always a children's beer in the hand. Decades and generations of waiters later, so many friends came and some of them have already paid their cover for ever, Leo Bardenheuer, Benno, Rainer, Michael and a few more, I am dry and where am I in the boom of my friends, in the early evening stop on Christmas night, with Tonic in my hand? Was everything better? In the past, many things were quite good, some of them still today, the dome cellar will certainly remain a little. to the next 35 years;

Since I came to Aachen in 1981, the Domkeller was my favorite starting point to meet with friends and spend a great evening. Whether outside on the old terrace or inside with fine music.
