Elisenbrunnen - Aachen

Very nice restaurant (directly on the Elisenpark). The menu is large (in the truest sense of the word) and offers something for every taste. Staff is quick and friendly and prices are appropriate to the good quality of food. Only criticism could be that it might be a bit loud, but this is the case in many restaurants.

Level full restaurant in the center of Aachen. Great ambience. Food, or Wiener Schnitzel good. Pommes good. Salad OK. Beverage selection generous. Service very nice. Has surprised me how high the number of people was.! Audience Mixed, with a pleasant atmosphere.

In the heart of Aachen lies the Elisenbrunnen with its restaurant of the same name. Here we were countless times for breakfast and for a coffee cake, but never for dinner. Yesterday was our first dinner and what a truly first-class culinary discovery. Everything's right here. Friendly food, first-class food without chi-chi and everything at a good price. As an Austrian peak I have very high expectations for a Viennese carving from the calf and an Kaiserschmarrn and quite honestly, we had actually expected nothing special, German and good Viennese, is that even? And the first thing we were. We haven't had such a delicious Viennese for a long time. And the Kaiserschmarrn was an A. Simply top and we'll be back soon.

18 o'clock reserved. Around 18.10 still in line. Finally at our table, 15 minutes waiting for the menu card. Again 15 minutes, until finally someone took up our order. Order: bottle of red wine, white beer and 3 main dishes.10 min, 15min.and I ask if you have forgotten our drinks. Answer a bottle of red wine takes longer and longer because you must finally open it. 8 min. later asked again, comt soon was said. At once the service is there with the courts. I asked if you could look again for our drinks. Then this undamaged person said in a cheeky sound: I don't do anything. She asked who gets wetted. My daughter asked, is that with paprika. She was in the middle/end 50, long hair with gray in between and glasses. I would have put you on the door after such an incident. Back to the drinks. Half of the food was eaten and drinks weren't there yet. My husband stood up, went to a waiter, asked to pick up the red wine bottle from the bill, and a new order of 2 glasses of open wine... It was so bad. Otherwise it was very cozy I must say. I will not give the restaurant very bad points. Something went wrong behind the counter, and then you unheard person.

Kidnapping into another world. Cheers and beautiful. All locals should be like that. Warm, worthy, cozy and round. And eating a poem, the service personally and nice. I'd always go.
