Nice place. We were here for brunch, which was nice. Their home made Nutella is a must try. The brunch offered: freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, tea, water, eggs, chia pudding, pancakes, jam, bread, cheese selection, fruit and salads. It is not megalomaniac brunch, but rather quality delicate meal.
I visited this lovely place 4/11-17 for a birthday gathering. We had a cosy room for our self (25-30 persons) and it made the whole thing a little more personal. We had their brunch, the best I have had in the whole of Aalborg, and warter, beer, juce aso. Was swerved by the most smiling personnel, who gave you the feeling that YOU where the one in center, and even more important, that they really truthfully liked their jobs. Deffentley a recommended place to go. Olney backside is, it is hard to get a parking space near by.
Everything was perfect when we had brunch here. We had made a reservation though it didn't seem neccessary. Great variation of food. From bacon and eggs to Danish pastry. The children loved the pancakes. Friendly staff. Thanks for a good time.
I came here for a jolly night out with friends. The waitresses made us feel welcome from the word go, and even without a reservation we were given a couple of table options. We chose a table where we could stay as long as we wanted. The last person in the party arrived a little late, but the waitress was great about it and just brought us our drinks and held back the menu card until the last person had arrived. There weren't very many dishes on the menu, but enough to offer some variety. I settled on the chicken burger and asked to have it without the emmentaler. Please note that I am not a fussy eater. I have had snake, frog legs, snails, jelly fish, dog, wood worms, fried crickets, camel and many other types of food when traveling around the world. I just don't like strong cheeses. Our food arrived fairly quickly and looked good. However, when I had the first bite I almost spat it out again. It was awful. I assumed that cheese had been added to the burger by mistake so I asked the waitress for help. She took the burger to the kitchen but quickly returned explaining that there was no cheese in the burger. The greenish goo was a herbal dressing. I tried a little again, but it was so vile that there was no way that I could eat it. It had been smeared all over the bun as well so I had to leave the dish. Luckily one of my friends couldn't finish her pasta so I ate her leftovers and some of the fries. Very disappointing! Still hungry I ordered dessert, chocolate fondant with sorbet. It was good, but didn't fill me up, so Helmuth is certainly not a place I would come back to for anything other than drinks.´ The décor is old school with a modern twist. From 10 PM the lights are dimmed and there is a DJ playing cool music. It made it hard for us to chat, but we enjoyed the ambiance anyway. Both the two waitresses and the bartender who took our money when we left were really nice young people with big smiles and witty remarks. They are the reason my review didn't go all the way down to one star!
