Enchilada Aalen

Our experience at Enchilada was very hit or miss.We dined on the upper terrace which provided nice outdoor seating and was much less "bar like" in atmosphere than the outdoor seating down below (it was very hot and literally not one inside table was occupied). The food was closer to Mexican or Tex mex than anything we can find near our home in Heidelberg but some hit the mark and some did not. A few things were almost there though and all of it was pretty good. The menu says that with the chips and dips the tortilla chips are "homemade"---they were green and red and clearly NOT freshly made---but still tasted OK and there was a pretty good salsa and gaucamole with them.Enchiladas are also green---I was wondering if there was more food coloring than corn in the tortillas. Cheese on everything is Guoda, etc but there were refried beans (cold) and jalepnos in the enchiladas. So, not the real deal, but tasty and much closer than the German Mexican places we have been to that toss a few kidney beans and some Sirachi "salsa" on a plate and call it Mexican food for some crazy reasonService was also spotty with very long waits for drinks both rounds. The maragaritas were OK and the frehsly made tea was pretty good.We might go back if in the area; it's different than we can usually get locally at least, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine there.

Resonably central Aalen restaurant. Good Mexican food selection, great atmosphere the staff speak good English (important for me) They serve nice beer and cocktails, prices are reasonable Recommended

Not a bad option when you just need something different! Pleasantly surprised at the good food and atmosphere, not expecting to be delighted by a Mexican restaurant in Germany!

I was here a saturnday evening. So the place was full. But after some minuts we got a table. The pub is a little bit chaotic,but definetly is a pub not a restaurant. Good beer(also the home-made one) and good food. It's a little bit mashed with the german style, but is good.The Nachos was home made,totally different(better) then what you can find in other mexican restaurant

Me and my girlfriend were here several times and enjoyed various dishes. That's why we valuate this restaurant as following:The restaurant serves mexican food (of course addicted to german tastes) and various kinds of cocktails. They offer on Tuesday 'gambas especial' and we definitely recommend this dish. It's a special offer with 1kg gambas and quite cheap. There are further offers which are available on their homepage.Beside of the dishes, the caipirinhas & margaritas are drinky too. We definitely recommend to use the android app or the homepage to do a reservation. We came 2 times w/o and got no table. The only disadvantage is that it takes a lot of time till you get your food ( it took us the last time 1h15min).
