First of all with the Tall Ships Races leaving right in front of the Marselis Harbour, there was a good number of guests looking for a place to eat after the last ship was out of sight. We settled for restaurant Martino because it had a variety of food to pick from. We sat waiting for the menu’s to be handed to us for a good 25min. Which we decided to pick them for ourselves, as we had a child with us. We then waited another 20 mins to get our order taken, while we heard the hustle and bustle in the kitchen, which is good but when the chef starts using obscene language with the staff, in front of restaurant guests, it gets one thinking is this normal? We manage to order our food, my steak came and it was cold, I mean if I’m going to eat steak at least don’t let it sit in the pass for long, the potatoes that came with it were warmer then the steak itself. At least I had my wine to drown my cold steak sorrows. The kids menu is basic, we settled for a pizza, it was same size as the adult pizza’s which is a total waste. Kids only eat 1 piece. I would suggest they make them smaller. All in all great location hence the 2 stars. Terrible service. Ok food.
Such a nice experience, right after arriving at DK for the first time after a so many years.
Okay food but tatar is No value for money. Water is too expensive. Restroom is bad.
A nice Italien restaurant with a great view of the Marselisborg harbour and a view over the sea and the Marselisborg forrest. Both indoor and outdoor seating. 'Nice calzone with fresh ingredients The pizza we tried had great filling but the pizza crust was not fully crisp as it is supposed to be. The calzone was very crisp and with a great taste. This is probably the best Italian restaurant in Aarhus, but that do not say much. They have a large selection of modern Italian food with many traditional pasta dishes, but it 's a bit more up scale than most other Italian restaurants in Aarhus. The pizza 's was 50% more expensive that the usual prices in Aarhus. The calzone was worth it the pizza not. But I will go there again no doubt
What a disappointment. We were met by a smiling and energetic waitress at the door but from there it went down hill fast. In total we were served by 5 different waiters. Half of whom couldn’t remember what they were bringing us and the other half didn’t speak English. The waiter who brought us the bottle of cream t we bought didn’t bring a towel nor did he pour any in our glasses. The food was ok. The lobster soup was delicious but everything else was below average. I wouldn’t choose to come here again, there are many better options in Aarhus in the sane price range.
