Mandarin Garden - Abbotsford

I really enjoyed this restaurant when my family and I visited. The experience was great overall. My only concern was with the shrimp—why fry it with the shell still on in the batter? Aside from that, everything was fine. Perhaps a different brand of ice cream could improve the dessert options as well.

The buffet service is quick, but they don’t offer takeout from the buffet, despite an old photo on Google Maps showing otherwise. On the positive side, the customer service is excellent and the restaurant is clean! The salad bar is nice, with items like oranges occasionally available, and the stir-fried button mushrooms are tasty. I appreciate the portion sizes and the sticky rice. However, I think it would be beneficial if the lunch buffet offered a lower price for regular customers, as it can be a bit pricey to visit frequently. Additionally, I have my preferences among the dishes; some I really like while others are just okay.

The food is excellent! It's our favorite buffet to visit. However, the restaurant could benefit from an update or a thorough cleaning, as the carpets are sticky.

My wife and I had the dinner buffet this evening . We tried a little bit of almost everything and both agreed the food was kind of bland over all. Neither of us found anything that we could say mmm that was good . They had 8 flavors of ice cream to choose from for dessert though which was nice. Service was fine. They brought us water promptly so no complaints there. Atmosphere was fine. 2 screens with hockey on so that was cool.

Lots of options, food is delicious and service is very friendly. We come here often.
