The signage was simple yet inviting, advertising both Vietnamese and Canadian cuisine. However, the menu mainly featured Vietnamese dishes, with the Canadian options limited to all-day breakfast items like bacon, eggs, sausage, toast, as well as burgers and sandwiches. The Vietnamese menu was extensive and diverse, with very reasonable prices and generous portions. The whole family, including the mom, dad, and two kids, seemed to be involved in running the restaurant. It's a shame that I don't live closer, as I would definitely consider becoming a regular patron.
I use to go there a lot. There noodles and soup were good. This is the first time I ordered a beef brisket phó. It was good except the fact the soup was off. It didn’t taste that good. The beef balls were not fresh...at all. The beef itself and beef brisket was good.
This restaurant in Abbotsford is a hidden treasure. It is owned by a lovely family and has a charming, cozy and clean atmosphere. They serve freshly prepared food at a reasonable price and always greet you with a smile, making you feel valued. I highly recommend this family-owned restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious home-cooked meal.
The service was slower and the decor was nothing to write home about (other than the big aquarium) but the banh mi was delicious.
Attended Jun for lunch, A male waiter came right away, believed the owner and handed me a menu. Ordered beef noodle soup, large bowl, and pop. Pop came right away, and big bowl of broth beef soup. I know this is Vietnamese menu...but they also have breakfast all day which I saw working people getting. The room just bare tiled, feel you are in part of a building as not much décor, high ceiling, sounds like a hall. I sat in a booth and table shorter than seats, kind of different. Soup hot freshly made but I thought very little noodles, and used to more. Lots of thin strips of beef easy to chew. I was not full, and large bowl was a little high for quantity. The credit card machine did not work well, old style to dial up and wait! I guess family run as female cook came out to talk. May try breakfast meal next time. Used to Chinese soups, this was not tasty. No music, basic. Happytravels.
