The inner city abensberg is not very large, but really beautiful. the city square where it is located is very well maintained and quiet, yes they can speak of idyllic. the large house from the kuchlbauer donates a wonderful natural shadow, so that they can sit wonderfully outside even at heat. but also inside I like the plant very well, only the artificial flower decoration is not at all. with the services we have made various experiences. something big, sometimes a drink was forgotten several times. to eat: classic Bavarian cuisine offers the standard card and the tageskarte sounds really good every time. I have tried a lot here: salat with k. rinse and cheese mixed frite from the black and calf cream fillings (toll spanferkel (partly looked huge at the first moment, but remained from the loudness approx. 50% of the bones left. but very, very good and especially brilliant was the acidic wood-falling steak with rusty wobble (the meat was unfortunately not as tender as hoped, but was still pleasant in the direction. brittles were extremely oily and silly. tasty boiled (unfortunate cratzer carving art part pfifferlings fried with swirl and speks (the hammer! Pfifferling-Risotto (class are the shares almost all quite large and therefore a very good price/performance ratio. 5 main dishes, 3 appetizers and 6 large drinks only under 100 € from me a clear recommendation!
The anwesen am stadtplatz in abensberg is one of the civic houses of the city, whose history is the most traced. the brewery in abensberg consists of a rustic dining room, large newly renovated room for high season, jubileee, receptions, meet, demonstrations social trips and much more. here is a seating area for approx. 230 people next to the room is the so-called Napoleon room ideal for small events and offers space for approx. 30 people. it has a very elegant environment. the menu offers a lot for every taste. from the price it is normal for this region, and it is worth going all the cases here if they are close and want to afford some money. a small sample: cordon bleu from the black ham-Camenbert-Birn fill black sauce croquettes and supplements salat for 12.40 eur wolperdinger teller tournedos from pute and black on graterdatschi with cheese picking wood mushroom sauce and salad 12.90 eur I say only good appetit!
I stayed at the Kuchlbauer hotel for a few nights whilst on business and I was given a newly renovated room on the top floor, facing the town square. I 've been to Abensberg many times in the past, but this was the first time at the Kuchlbauer. It was also the last time... The room was lovely and spacious, bathroom was fantastic, however there were no curtains, only part blinds on the bottom halves of the windows, which seemed a bit odd. The temperature was stifling, and the temperature setting on the wall offered no respite. I enquired if there was air con, or even a fan. The reply was a flat 'no '. You should also be aware that there is a nightclub next door, and whilst you don 't hear noise from the nightclub itself, the people queueing to get in, and/or go out for a smoke, or waiting for a cab, is ever present until 4 5am... At night there are floodlights on the hotel front, so with the lack of curtains your room is never dark... This was all experienced during the first night of my stay, and I enquired at reception if they could please help. The response was a flat 'no '. Basically the lady at reception couldn 't care less if I had no sleep. They have clearly heard all of this before, because when I raised the issue of noise I was not only cut off before I could finish, but was told that this is a city issue, and not their problem. When I raised the issue about the hot room, I was told to open the windows, which yes you 've guessed it is when the noise goes up to 11. I also enquired if there was a sheet or something that could be done about the lack of curtains. The answer was a flat 'no '. So I think you are starting to get the picture of what you are dealing with here. I even spoke to the owner after the second night and nice though that he was, there was nothing he could or would do. I 'm not quite sure which. They are very clearly used to these complaints so it is staggering that they haven 't addressed them. The hotel itself is lovely, the rooms are lovely, the food is great, but the staff well the less said about some of them the better. Definitely not service minded, let alone in dealing with members of the public. Rude and unhelpful.
