Feedback geven*Update: I returned for takeout this time, and smokers were still congregating out front, haha. I got a steak sub to go (I requested it without cheese, adding peppers, onions, and mushrooms) along with a baked potato. Again, the food was great, and the service was commendable.
I had to send the mashed potatoes back because they were cold (the butter didn't even melt). They returned nicely warm. The fried egg burger was delicious, and the ribs were also good.
When we inquired about our entrees, I had ordered a rare Delmonico steak with fries, coleslaw, and a side of horseradish, while my wife ordered a medium-well ribeye with a baked potato and mushrooms. After about 20 minutes, our waitress informed us that our food was on the way, but she didn’t check on our drinks or appetizers at all. Fifteen minutes later, the steaks arrived, and to my dismay, my $36 steak was overcooked and charred, well-done instead of rare, and I received broccoli instead of fries, with no horseradish on the side. My wife convinced me to speak up about it. By the time the manager came to address my complaint, my wife had already finished half of her baked potato with butter. I was told that another steak would be coming, but I really didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for a replacement steak that was also overcooked. For a steakhouse, the quality was terrible, and the service was lacking. In the end, I paid $70 for my wife’s meal and drinks, but it was an overall disappointing experience for my first visit. Lesson learned: I should have stayed home and cooked for myself. Here’s a photo of my perfectly cooked medium-rare filet with spicy shrimp. This should be a lesson for the kitchen staff.
