Had very good experience in this restaurant. Renamed from Apertivo. Very busy, which is a good sign...the service was excellent, all staff were friendly and helpful. We were there for the pre theatre menu...... up to 6pm) which is very reasonably priced. The food was great...we all had 2 courses, £12.95)..good wine and beers on offer. All plates emptied, and one had an affogato, with a wee dram on the side...very good. Good atmosphere as well. Visited again late April...just as good as last time...
I didn't expect to find a piece of Sicily in Aberdeen, but I'm so glad I did. Fantastic choice of food and wine, accompanied with quick and courteous service. It was a pleasure to eat here and I highly recommend it. I had the Melanzane al Forno to start, followed by Risotto Pescatora and Tiramisu for dessert. Accompanied by a glass of La Segreta Bianco from Sicilia. First class!
We walked in on Saturday night and I cannot remember when was the last time that I’ve been welcomed with a smile Got a nice table , the food was great, service was excellent. Little things like, the server lady offered black pepper not just on my main but my side salad too. Food quality was really good. Probably our new favourite place from now on
Robbie at Al Fresco is a true gem! His impeccable service and genuine warmth made our dining experience truly exceptional. We were thoroughly impressed and grateful for his outstanding service. Thank you, Robbie, for making our visit memorable!
