Cafe Cognito - Aberdeen

I really enjoyed my panini for lunch today, and the ice cream topped with delightful little toppings was the perfect finish. Since it was such a lovely warm day, I chose to sit outside on the patio. The chairs were very comfortable, and there was a bin nearby for all my trash, which kept my table nice and tidy. I had a wonderful time, and next visit, I’m tempted to try one of their delicious-looking cakes!

Just a scone and cup of coffee but bothe were lovely. Lady serving was a little grumpy for some reason. Suppose we all have bad says though.

I absolutely adored this charming little café! It's conveniently located near our office in Aberdeen, and I can't wait to return for lunch on my next visit. The smoothie was incredible and just what I needed on a scorching day. The Panini was delicious, filled with just the right amount of ingredients and reasonably priced. And the Malteser bar? To die for! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when I placed my order. However, I was fortunate to find a seat since it was quite busy. It might be wise to avoid peak hours. I highly recommend this place!

The staff is friendly, but the cleanliness of the restaurant leaves much to be desired. The waitress brought our fudge directly to the table with her bare hands, without any gloves or napkin! I was truly put off by that. On a positive note, the affogato was delicious, as was the carrot cake. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

The strawberry tart base is hard, at least couple of days old so best to avoid it or ask when it was made. The hot chocolate is good. Coffee is okay.
