Denny's - Abilene

Jack Flash was an awesome waiter. He was friendly, took our order totally by memory and got everything correct. Food was very good.

Recently, our truck broke down, and we ended up staying at the Best Western while waiting for repairs. Fortunately, there was a Denny's right next to the hotel, so it became our only option for dining without a car. We were pleasantly surprised by this location. The interior was well-maintained and clean, and the service was cheerful, polite, and efficient. We would definitely return to this Denny's in the future. The food quality was also impressive, both at breakfast and dinner.

The broccoli and corn were delicious, the chicken fried steak was flavorful, and the chicken biscuit and gravy bowl was quite hearty. I was impressed by how quickly my takeout was ready—it took less than 15 minutes for my order to be prepared.

Excellent service! John was wonderful. The food was enjoyable as well. We started with BBQ boneless wings. I ordered the Cobb Salad, while my husband had the California Club with spicy fries.

I stopped at Denny's for dinner on my way to New Mexico after a long drive from Alabama. I ordered the Crazy Spicy Sizzlin' Skillet, and I was impressed by how quickly the service was. The food was delicious, and the restaurant was clean. There was plenty of parking available, and it’s conveniently located next to a couple of hotels, plus it’s open 24/7, which is a great advantage. I’m giving it four stars instead of five because a friend of mine was charged extra for fruit that was supposed to be a free side.
