La Familia - Abilene

Every time I go to this restaurant I am welcomed in the friendliest way! It is always busy and you are served quickly! NOW the food! I love it! Everything I have had is amazing I get breakfast burritos and posole every time! Also, the tamales are so good. I don’t live in Abilene anymore so it is a must when we visit and I bring it home! All the prices are fair.

Food was definitely good … the pozole de puerco was yummy , the menudo was tender and was Delish …the barbacoa tacos are the bomb …great friendly service … do recommend and will return if I’m in Abilene again

Food was excellent! Service was on point! Waitress kept my glass full of tea and checked on us every time she went by. This place is off the main strip and is a nice place to dine out of the main stream. Real Mexican food Not out of a can like some places. Pricing is a little high for my taste but will be back again for sure.

Very good, and price is reasonable. I had barbacoa. It was very lean. Also had chorizo bean and egg burrito. Everything was great except hot sauce wasn't too good

This is not Tex-Mex, and thank goodness for that! It's one of the few authentic Mexican restaurants I've discovered in West Texas (excluding El Paso). Their food is amazing—absolutely delicious!
