Café Abiquiu Laterraza

The service was excellent, but the food was uninspiring and seemed to lack passion. It was beautifully presented and served promptly, though.

On our way back to Santa Fe, we made an unexpected stop for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly, especially our waitress, who was exceptionally nice. We both ordered Shrimp and Grits, and I truly believe it was some of the best we’ve ever had. The shrimp was fresh, and the grits were wonderfully creamy. For dessert, we enjoyed their Summer Berry Pudding, which was refreshing. It's a shame we didn't get to sit outside, as that would have been our preference. Hopefully, we'll get that opportunity next time!

We have dined here multiple times, and each visit has been wonderful. The chili-crusted steak and shrimp and grits are fantastic, and the wine and dessert selections are impressive, making this a place we’ll definitely return to.

We took the whole family and our fur baby to Abiquiu. We went to this restaurant twice. It?s pet friendly. We enjoyed our meals on the patio. The food is really good. I gonna miss their trout dishes a lot.

What a pleasant surprise to have found such a wonderful place to dine. The food was fantastic! We checked in to our hotel room and walked right in to get a table at 7:00 on a Sunday evening. After a long day of traveling we were relieved they were open and happy to serve us. Service was great, had some Gruet to celebrate our visit and ordered a couple appetizers and entrées. Our children were pretty tired from the trip but seemed to enjoy their visit as the beautiful artwork on the wall served as great conversational pieces while we waited for our food. First we had the Hummus then Napoleon appetizer, which I highly recommend. For entrées, my husband had the Red Chile Shrimp Grits and I had the Blue Corn Crusted Trout with Corn Cakes Green Beans. Everything was cooked seasoned to perfection. The next morning we had the Red Chile Eggs Benedict our children had pancakes. We are so grateful to have found this spot and look forward to visiting here more often!
