During dinner, a busser sat in a booth across from my table and wiped something off of her shoe, she then used the same cloth to wipe down the booth she was in , and the one in front of that.A bit later, she wiped down a high top and then laid the cloth along with a spray bottle on the floor. She put flatware on the table, picked up her tools and went off to wipe down other tables.I spoke with a manager who seemed concerned but didn’t follow up. My party paid our bill and left, without ordering dessert because to witness such disregard for cleanliness was off-putting. We’ll be cool on this place for a bit.
Came here tonight to have a kid free dinner out with my wife. Drinks came out. There was a hair in my drink. They did replace it. (Positive). Ordered appetizer which was good but cold. Salad was good. Entree was cold. Mashed potato's were cold. Barely ate any of my food. No server came to ask if everything was ok or even acknowledge I barely ate any of my food. The cocktail I had was not good. Felt like it was 83 dollars wasted. We won't be back for the foreseeable future.
Oh my. My wife 's pork chops with mashed potatoes and a bourbon gravy were sooo salty they were inedible. We had to send them back. The blackened swordfish I had was not blackened, but grilled. It was good, but not what the menu said it would be. It was on a bed of rice with uncooked grains trying to chip your teeth at every other bite. All this for amazingly high prices
Alli was absolutely amazing! She stayed on top of everything and never had us waiting. We had the bang bang shrimp, which was delicious! Also had a filet mignon and a Cuban sandwich. 10/10 recommend! The blueberry martini is so refreshing! Will definitely be returning to try out more menu items. Service was awesome. Everything came out of the kitchen quickly!
On the plus side, the service was excellent—very attentive staff. The food was good, but I found it to be significantly overpriced for what was offered. Given the prices, I think I’d prefer to go to Cork N Cleaver, where the atmosphere is quieter and the food is better. The dishes aren't bad, but a restaurant's French onion soup can reveal a lot about its quality. Summit's version was decent, leaning towards the higher mid-range. It wasn't extraordinary (although Fort Wayne has some truly amazing options), but it was enjoyable. I finished it all! It had the classic flavor profile and was well-prepared, with a generous amount of nicely toasted cheese. We also tried the Texas Twinkies, which were fantastic—I highly recommend those! I ordered the Chipotle chicken and shrimp with gluten-free pasta, and it was amazing; it had a delightful campfire flavor and a nice spicy kick. My husband had the brown sugar bone-in pork chops, which he enjoyed, although he felt that for the price, the chop could have been thicker. Overall, it’s a pleasant place to sit, enjoy a meal, and chat over a glass of wine. It's definitely worth a visit!
