Beautiful Location With a View – Good Food Food (Taste/Quality) 4/5 Ambiance/Location: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Price (Value for money): 4/5 Others 4/5 (Parking) MADO is one of Turkey’s most famous food and beverage services brand names. Come to this location and you understand why. Located inside the Nations Towers Mall, this restaurant serves traditional Turkish delicacies. I went to this place with curiosity and a craving for manti (one of our favorites from the years spent living in Istanbul) the traditional ravioli like meat filled dumplings served with sarımsaklı yoğurt (garlic yogurt), salca, served with Turkish spices. The manti I got was good – the best I have had in the UAE so far, but nothing compared to the speciality manti shops in Turkey. Maybe the comparison is also unfair, given that MADO specializes as a dessert shop in Turkey, even if it serves everything, including kababs, at this location. I tried their dessert and unsurprisingly, that was awesome. All in all – a good place to have Turkish desserts – and possibly sometimes a Turkish meal as well. Recommended.
Mado at nations towers was always a nice place to go to for a nice family breakfast , polite and swift service, with fresh ingredients and lovely sea view ambience, the food was lovely , well cooked and adequately portioned. My one reservation was that they are very strict about there menu options to the point of just being unyielding about it , I wanted to get the family meal but being a coffee drinking Individual requested the tea that comes with the meal be replaced with coffee , which was refused as they said its an unchanging set menu to which I agreed despite how it sounds and when I asked them to just give me water instead of the tea as not to be wastful they refused again. If the above wouldn't put you off I would recommend the place for the plus points mentioned above.
Take a table that's visible to the waiters otherwise they forget about you. Had to get up and find the bill to pay. Not impressed with mint and lemon tea. A pot is for 1 person. Halloumi cheese salad is a big portion and tastes good with fresh bread and pomegranate sauce. Slightly overpriced for what it is and probably not coming back.
