Pharaoh - Abu Simbel

Good fish but price at the customer's head. I was asked for 200 feet for a portion of fish and rice. I negotiated firmly and finally paid 100p. which is still too much. To avoid!

I sensed that by publicly stealing food, it's very ordinary and less normal, and prices are too expensive. First and last time... I don't recommend it at all. Bad experience with regret.

I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant to anyone. Although the food was good, the staff requested a payment of 950 EGP for a simple lunch. We had grilled chicken, rice, salad and great tahini, but it was surely not a regular price. I must stress out that it was not a misunderstanding, but both two personnel insisted that the one portion of chicken was worth 750 EGP. We gave them 300 EGP, but it was still not enough for them. At the same time some local policemen came for lunch so we asked them whether this was a regular price. After a short dialog in arabic the policemen asked, what we had for lunch and told us that the amount we paid was enough and nothing else is necessary to be paid.This restaurant is in front of the square and offers a grilled barbeque. It is open and looks cosy. There was not any menu to check the prices.We appreciate they had coca-cola in glass, but we still believe that we paid too much, since we had only one-person size portion of chicken.

I recommend this restaurant!!! The food is very delicious and clean. One of the most satisfy restaurants I tried in Egypt, must try the fried fish!!! Fresh, clean and nice.
