Taj Bistro - Abuja

Second time coming here after a few years, I ordered a burger which was quite tasty however my food arrived significantly earlier than the rest of my party, finished eating before the last person was served, something to be seriously improved upon. Atmosphere was nice, decor was nice too. Prices are on the higher side too, they have a diverse menu also, not in a hurry to return.

I’ve always wanted to visit Taj for a while now because of the ambiance I had seen on Instagram. I must say It is beautiful for pictures. Although, I was really disappointed with my meal after waiting much longer than the waiter said it’ll take, only to be served an extremely salty and inedible meal. They offered another Steak option but the meat from their distributor was prepared salty so that also came out salty Ps: The manger gave me a discount.

Visiting Taj Bistro, I was first impressed by the semi-outdoor look with the glass covering situated on the first floor of the building. The impression went on with the stairs leading to the first floor which is beautifully decorated (a nice place to propose or ask for forgiveness . Taj Bistro has a general restaurant area and also a private spot. The restaurant is welcoming and neat. The Staff are nice and polite. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to have lunch here because of my schedule but hopefully, I get to return and update this part of my review. Personally, my experience although brief, was a good one.

In summary, it is really an excellent service and good food. Right in the heart of Wuse 2, the restaurant is very accessible, though with limited parking as it is located in a multi-use building. However, you can always find parking in surrounding areas. The food take an average of 20 mins, so you might want to call earlier to order before getting there, especially if you are a large party. The menu is very wide and good to study this from their Instagram handle before you get there. It was easy as I made my order from a picture I saw there. The setting is typical restaurant style with an adjoining bar. The kitchen is see through so you can watch the chefs prepare the orders. Good experience overall.

I’ve been here twice and I’ll definitely go back for those tacos. It’s a lovely bistro with pretty good food
