Mckenna's Place - Acacia Villas

This is my second time coming here the first time it was packed so i thought the waitress was busy she checked on us one time but the second time i came the restaurant was not busy at all our waitress never came back to our table at all but she had enough time to restock paper towels on empty tables lol so my friend i was with had to ask another worker that happened to walk by our table for a box then all of a sudden she wants to come to our table asking us if we want to close out if i wanted to add something else i couldn’t she was no where to be found and im not going to yell for your attention either but maybe im wasting my words ?

Just moved to the area from Boynton and man is this my kinda place! I’ve literally only been here for 15 minutes and the service is phenomenal! The portions on the apps WHAT A BANG FOR MY BUCK! Drinks made super well as a bartender/restaurant manager I’m over the moon pleased! If you’re in the area definitely come check this place out! You’ll probably find me sitting at the bar everyday I’m off from now on! Arlen!!! What can I say about Arlen other than to tell you this girls a gem behind the bar, friendly, welcoming and makes a damn good drink! If I could give more stars I definitely would!

The food was just awful! The Cajun Shrimp Scampi sauce pure butter and oil. The cod was frozen, the fries were cold and the Cole slaw had a strong onion flavor. The steamed broccoli was hard as a rock. The hostess and server was great (same person) was great but our waitress barely checked on us and was on her phone half the time. It was a really bad experience.

Such a surprise from this strip mall restaurant. Don't let the exterior fool you. This place is a fantastic locals joint with a bit of a coastal roadhouse theme, diverse american menu, and great service. The only catch is that they charge for using your credit card. So take cash because the prices are good if you pay in cash. You won't be disappointed.

Great place to get crab legs on Thursday night. Do not Get their calamari, it sucks.
