We sat and literally sat the couch and tablecloth at the place where we sat, were covered in crumbs. It was pretty bad... I wore a dress and tried to wipe the crumbs off the couch, but there was a lot like the tablecloth. It seems they forgot to clean up after who was last there? Anyway, we waited like 30 minutes for them to take our order, and it took 45 minutes until the food came to us. We were a little confused about why waiting was so long because there weren't many people in there... it was pretty quiet. Our nachos were just turned up so they came the fastest. I have a caesar salad and it was pretty rough. The salad leaves were enormous and really chewing, the chicken was so dry I couldn't eat anything of it (it seemed like it was pre-cooked frozen chicken that they heated) and the bread was a completely different story. It should be a kind of garlic bread, but it was burned on one side, and extremely soft and soggy on the other. It tasted like it was immersed in butter and immersed in the microwave. I opened it up and the whole middle of the bread was teig and uncooked. I couldn't upset it. The others ordered Steak Tacos were extremely dry. The plate had tortillas and the dry, chopped steak. The menu said it came with Cilantro, and so they waited for 15 minutes, but the Zilantro never came out. We asked the waiter whether it should be Zilantro, he jumped and ran and took out the record of the chopped veggies that they totally forget. To be honest, the tacos don't taste better... The Tostadas were decent. But not worth the LITERAL crumbs tables and chairs, or wait long. Not sure what was going on, it was a super weird experience. We had heard it was a local favorite, but I would never recommend it to everyone.
I've been going to Jimmy for many years. Food is reliable and good. The owner is always very friendly and I feel welcome.
Only 1 block from the Costera of Wal-Mart. It wasn't even there since our last two visits weren't good. Looks a bit dirty and what we ordered was not so good (in our opinion).
I have been going to Jimmys for more than 30 years. It a very easy place to go to since I stay at the connecting hotel (Marbella) The food is good, but the new owners the menu has changed 7 the prices have goneup. They...still have Happy Hour from 6-8 daily. Pancho is the waiter i gotto know more than 20 years ago. He Miguel still give me fabulous service.
Seeing that my wife and I stay at the Marbella Hotel during our time in Acapulco, it's easy to say we love to stop in for a few drinks during happy hour. The food is very good too! The waiters are very helpful and friendly....Tom Susie
