Urban Grill - Accra Ghana

I traveled a long way to visit this restaurant, only to discover that it was closed. The security guard outside mentioned that it has been closed for a few months and that many people still come by every day looking for it. It seems that their hours of operation are still listed online, leading to confusion for customers. If the restaurant is no longer open, they should update their information.

We loved the ambiance of the restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. We definitely plan on returning!

The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The manager was exceptional and allowed us to stay past closing time. Overall, I had a wonderful experience enjoying the outdoor seating with a fantastic view.

We visited in Jan 2021 Decor of the restaurant is gorgeous both inside and outside on the terrace. Staff are very attentive. I highly recommend the steak with the cassava fries. They 're not actually fries but small chunks of deep fried cassava coated in a little chilli powder. Crisp on the outside but so Fluffy and soft on the inside. The chimicuri sauce goes very well with the steak. Our bill for 1 crispy shrimp, 1 flat iron, 1 t-bone 2 sides and a Guinness and a coke totalled. 550ghc which includes a 10% service charge. We asked the waiter and he said the service charge gets shared equally between kitchen and front of house staff, but we gave him an additional cash tip too. The only let down was that they didn 't have a dessert menu. When I asked the waiter said there isn 't a menu but they have 2 x desserts available either chocolate fudge cake or cheesecake. I asked which type/favour of cheesecake he said "regular cheesecake* LOL. I didn 't get a dessert. The quality of food was very good here, but for Ghana prices its at the top end. If its within your budget I can highly recommend here, especially if you want to go somewhere for steak.
