He was very friendly and even walked me back to the tro tro station after my meal. The Rasta running the small convenience store next door was also very friendly. It is preferred that customers call in advance to arrange a time for their arrival so that the chef can visit the market and prepare a more extensive meal. However, be aware that the mapping for the location may be incorrect. Overall, my experience at Legassi Gardens was enjoyable and I would recommend giving it a try.
I recently visited a vegetarian cafe that offers a limited menu sourced entirely from the local market. When I arrived, the chef was out but hurried back to whip up a simple yet delicious creamed vegetable dish. It was my first time trying flower cabbage and I was pleasantly surprised by the creamy sauce that accompanied it. The chef, who is from Ghana, has worked on cruise ships around the world and clearly has a mastery of the kitchen. He was friendly and even offered to drive me back to the bus station. The Rasta who runs the convenience store next door was also very welcoming. It is recommended to schedule your visit in advance so they can prepare a more elaborate meal after picking out fresh ingredients from the market. Legassi Gardens is located in Pokuase, but be aware that the mapping may not be entirely accurate.
