Mazera - Accra

I've had a great experience every time I visit. I really enjoyed the Okra Soup with Banku, and the staff is very friendly. The fresh juice is also delicious!

The food was, as always, quite good, but the service was incredibly disappointing. To be fair, I’ll focus on the behavior of the staff member who served us that day. It's ridiculous to charge an extra 10gh for pepper after we had already paid 95gh for tilapia. The waitress presented us with a VAT receipt totaling 196gh but then asked us to pay 204gh. When we inquired about the discrepancy, we were left waiting for 30 minutes without a satisfactory explanation. The cashier then stated that the actual bill was 185gh, which meant we were owed a refund, while the waitress continued to mention other inconsistencies. After a frustrating back-and-forth over receipts, we finally decided to just leave and handed over 205gh. It’s really disheartening. If a waitress is hoping for a tip, she shouldn’t resort to dishonest tactics. Tips are earned, not demanded. Management needs to pay attention to this behavior, as it can turn a great business into a disappointing experience.

When it comes to Mazera, saying their food tastes "crazy good" doesn't even begin to capture it. You truly have to try it to fully appreciate what I mean. The food is absolutely delightful—please continue maintaining such high standards!

Very long waiting time. Ate there 3 times First time was really nice but last time we just try food and didn't eat it. We will not come back there again

One can’t go wrong with their tilapia, Banku with fresh pepper, they also do very good Okro stew with tilapia and goat meet. They do well with continental and Chinese dishes. The customers are many at lunch, i advice you place your order on time.
