Waffle House - Acworth

Excellent breakfast. Extremely busy with take out orders but no worry for this staff. Amazing work. Very friendly to all. A nice experience.

What can I say? It 's waffle house! Service was ok, atmosphere was typical to other waffle houses, and the food was da bomb! Great All Star breakfast and delicious coffee. Way to start the morning off.Parking: Parking Is available and usually easy to find a spot. Yet, at certain times, it 's a little harder to find an empty spot.

Casssandra was my server when I stopped by here for lunch. I ordered the Cheesesteak Melt Plate with hashbrowns. Cassandra was very kind and acknowledged me as soon as I sat down at my booth. The food came out very quick and was absolutely delicious. Cassandra kept checking up on me to make sure I had everything I needed. She’s the best!

The evening shift service and food is much better! Last week, I visited during the morning shift. I wasn't greeted initially. Two servers stood in front of me at the bar and still didn't acknowledge me. An older, friendly server came over after 5 mins or so and asked if I had been helped. She's been my server before during the evenings. She's always friendly and helpful. Once I got home, after a few bites, I trashed it. The waffle was undercooked, the grits were AWFUL, and my bacon was almost burnt. The only thing I ate was the hashbrown.

Guy just sitting around drinking coffee with no orders and refused to take our orders. Unbelievable might as well say open 0 hours instead of 24 hours, it’s a black guy with his hair braided, he refused, one of the servers walked out and he literally said “the server walked out I can’t take your order right now when she comes back I willl” and when I told him you can take my order, he said “I’m the cook I’m not the server I can’t take your order, so he started sweeping and I told him I’ll get you fired and he said goodluck with that” he refused to help us out saying the server could only take the order, and not the cook which is a complete lie because every other Waffle House I been to anyone took my order and I also work with food my self, he needs to be fired or talked to, you can even check the CAMERAS HE WAS JUST SITTING THERE SAYING UNTIL THE SERVER COMES BACK, unbelievable experience, never coming back again and definitely having my friends leave a 1 star review
