The dining room is surrounded (on three walls) by large clean windows that look on a quiet garden of abducted paths under large Magnolias, Kamelien, Pinien and Hollies. There is a large wooden deck that leads to a pavilion. I love this place. What a treasure. I'm just sorry I'm not close.
This place is great. Some of my friends met there today and had lunch. The staff is very nice and helpful. We all had fried chicken. I had a potato casserole and green beans. Ray and I had the buttermilk cake and Danny had banana pudding. We all committed ourselves to coming back and eating here. Great food.
Great country cooking and some really friendly people working there. And their prices were very reasonable. But the HVAC was very inadequate to handle the warmth of the dining room full of people. It was hotter inside than on a summer day.
I lived in this area for 13 years. I've been past this place so many times. I stopped and finally gave this place a try. Now I'm so mad at me that I can't bear it. The food is absolutely incredible. The price makes you almost think you commit robbery... if you like really good home cooked food, then you owe it to go here. You will not find better roasted chicken somewhere or vegetables for this matter. I will definitely visit this place more frequently. Normally, I think I have great secrets, but this is too good not to share.
My kids and I want to Adairsville Inn Restaurant for Saturday lunch and are off the buffet. The prices were fair, adult about $8 and children less than $5. Supper prices are a little more. We had the pot roast and fried chicken. They were both good and paired nicely with the Southern-style vegetables such as green beans, cream corn, mac cheese, turnip greens, collard greens, mashed potatoes and a few other options. Their tea is very sweet, I will go for half and half next time. Overall, a friendly experience.
