Feedback gevenThis restaurant has a charming 60s-70s vibe that is truly unique. It's unfortunate that there aren't many places like it left, as chains seem to have taken over.
While camping with my family at Bon Echo, we decided to stop in for breakfast on our way back.
Waited 1/2 hour for a coffee and almost an hour for a BLT. Every time we come in it is overly slow. Again the food is good but the service terrible.
I found the decor very interesting on arrival, however the journey to the wash room was very awkward as one had to squeeze past a maze of tables and chairs occupied by other patrons having a meal.The liver was about 1/4 inch thick and dry, good mashed potatoes, the roasted vegetable pasta with marina sauce was disappointing-no roasted veggies but cubed veggies in tomato sauce -had to ask for cheese - the pickeral
We were RVing nearby but fancied a spot of lunch. Nice place with a good selection, good friendly service with a very local feel. It was then we spotted they have a prime rib night so we reserved a table and came back! Wifi too which for us was a real bonus. Shame however, I'd like to have tried their Pit Stop area which was not open. There is little else around without a bit of a drive, and why would you?
