El Carrisal Mexican - Adel

I had the beef tacos expecting to get authentic Mexican tacos. I was very disappointed, might has well went to Taco Bell and I don’t like Taco Bell. There was nothing authentic about it. Service was a little slow, and the food is usually really good, but it made me sick the last time I ate there. I prolly won't go back for awhile. There were kids running and hollering the whole time too. Service: Dine in Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

We were passing through town and decided to stop and try this place. I'm so glad we did! The food was very good and the menu offered selections that we had never encountered before. I had the Hourache ? I think? . It was a corn tortilla in the shape of a flatbread with steak steips, onions, and cheese. So good! We arrived just as they opened and our waitress was the only one until help arrived so that was the only negative but not her fault. Otherwise she was friendly and made fresh coffee for my husband. We pass through Adel frequently and will definitely stop again.
