Located on The Broadway at Glenelg South, the Organik Cafe is the go-to cafe for many locals, myself included. I visit this place regularly, most often for coffee, as, unlike so many other Glenelg cafes, the coffee is consistently good. Occasionally, we also eat here as well as get takeaway salad and sides for dinner at home. There are many food options. There's a 7-day a week all day breakfast menu plus a small selection of lunch items. Additionally, there's a cabinet offering smaller dishes, salads, pre-made wraps and so on. A large selection of healthy smoothies and juices are all great as well. Before writing this review, we visited Organik on a Sunday for a late lunch. We opted for the chimichurri eggs special to share, which was good. We had tea and juices to go with it. The place was pretty busy, but we were lucky to get the last table inside. The only qualm about Organik is that when it's busy, the service can be a bit slow. Other than that, the food is as good as any other similar priced breakfast/cafe place in Adelaide, and certainly one of the better places in the Glenelg area.
This is our go to, the food is fresh and healthy with the best juices in Glenelg, the coffee is also good. We have been coming here for years. We do feel the table number situation could be a bit more organized but that's about it. The girls are always friendly so we don't mind, we love it. Thank you organik for providing delicious healthy food!!
Fav cafe. Love The Organik, great food and fresh vegetable juice that even my children love, great service from friendly staff and cute little blankets outside for when it gets cold
Best cafe. Sunday, 11 May, 2014, 12:00 PM: I visited this place for brunch. I ordered a Detox appetizer with beet, carrot, celery and ginger. It was served in a glass jar, typical cafe style. Tasted really fresh. Then I had Grilled Mushroom, brie cheese on basil pesto with toasted sourdough bread. The elements on the plate were cooked really nice. Cheese melt just on time as served hot. Mushrooms were cooked to perfection. Not so stiff, not so soft. basil pesto and sourdough toast was pretty good. Even when my drink was quite simple, it was too expensive than expected. This was not a lavish cafe serving marvelous dishes, having said that, the platter was charged a bit high as well but was really worth having it. Couldn't handle any more food whole day after eating that platter ; My brother ordered a regular cappuccino which he said was tasting really good. He ordered a sourdough toast with grilled mushrooms, avocado slices, balsamic roast tomato and baked beans on the side. That platter was presented in a normal way, although the colours of the components came out to our eyes. At the same time, it tasted well. Overall, the bill was nearly 45 for 2, which I believe is an overcharge as compared to other really good cafes around the city of Adelaide and Melbourne as I come from Melbourne VIC . This place is definitely worth visiting. It was a cool weather today, we sat outside, and they also set the tables with a throb just in case someone cant handle the cold breeze along the sea side. The tables and chairs were looking quite simple but there were few colourful chairs outside where we sat. There could be something on table, like to decorate which would not make the tables look empty. It was a self service; we had to stand in queue to order, and they would come to our table and serve. Service time was also good though it was quite busy. In terms of ranking, Staff 9.5/10 Service time 10/10 Interior/Exterior 8/10 Menu choice 9.5/10 Quality 9.5/10 Quantity 9.5/10 Affordability 8/10 Satisfaction 9/10 Overall 9/10. Really recommended. Was satisfied and worth visiting :
