I had to fight my case. chicken pieces on fried rice still raw. as the night quiet, we could hear knocking in the kitchen, suggesting that things are frozen. no value for money. not recommended for families.
We really enjoyed our dinner here. found it to eat quite authentic street style. in the did was one of the courts I ordered, the bratkartoffeln, it was just like the one I had ordered last year in peking in a street café. the aromen were all there the spicy perfect. service was very friendly
The food wasn't too bad relatively inexpensive. The menu was predominated by LAMB dishes for some reason. I got very concerned about what was actually happening in the food preparation area/kitchen when I saw little black cockroaches meandering along the wall near our table. For that reason alone I would not frequent this place, again.
This used to be a lovely restaurant with friendly staff and average food. Due to change of management, the customer service is so poor that I wouldn't want to visit again even the food is ok. Four of us sat down at a table, with no drink services and there was no cutlery prepared for us, we had to go up to them and ask for it. I ordered 3 vegetarian dishes but it came with meat in all of them. When I complained to the staff about it, she didn't bother apologise and replied that I didn't make it clear enough. There were 3 staffs age averaged 25, will quickly sit down and chat or go out have a smoke when there is no service required (which I think is not right). Overall, very unpleasant experience.
We stumbled along this outlet while looking for a quick meal, and decided to give this place a try after looking at their menu posted on their windows. We were seated and handed our menus quickly enough, but that was where everything else stopped. I received my soft drink almost immediately but my wife didn't get her order of water. After waiting 20 minutes with no one coming over to explain the delay, we signalled to the same waitress who had seated us, asking for our water. She immediately thought we were complaining about the wait for the food and explained that they were more busy than expected. After another 15 minutes, another wait staff came to our table with food, but it was the wrong order and was meant for another table. We almost wished we had just accepted the food as we were starving by this stage, and in fact, were running the risk of being late for the Australia Day fireworks show. In fact, we also noticed that other tables were served wrong orders too. During this time, more and more patrons were seated, and I was wondering why they would bother packing in the restaurant when they clearly were not coping already. The one and only table where customers had actually eaten their meal was left uncleaned for the whole duration of our stay. As for all the wait staff, they were just hanging around (some taking orders), and evidently waiting for the kitchen to produce meals. Finally when our order came, about 45 minutes after we were seated, I noticed other patrons eyeing us with vexing looks, apparently wondering why they couldn't also be served their food! We did see a few customers making enquiries as to their orders, and one table politely said they would have to leave if their food wasn't served soon. The food itself a bowl of hokkien noodles with lamb brisket, and a plate of udon noodles with spicy chicken pieces were reasonably palatable. They were quite average the kind of fare you would find in most cafes. On the basis of the food alone, it's not a place we would have any desire to return to any time soon, plus our very, very long wait for the food, makes it an eatery we have no desire to return to at all. Hopefully that episode was just an irregularity, but regardless, LOTS of work is needed to improve customer service and efficiency. If they continue to fall apart each time it gets busy, they might as well find something else to do.
