Creature comforts are important they make us feel at home and well comfortable. And nothing could be more comforting than tucking into your favorite dish in your old home town....

Always outstanding. By far the best Laksa in Adelaide. Definitely worth the wait in line. Be sure to try the Kway Teow as well; it's impressively made and surprisingly delicious for such a straightforward dish.

Well now..... I remember going here about 20 years ago and thinking that this was about as exotic as food could possibly get in Adelaide... Going here made you feel as if you were being a bit daring.<br/ <br/ Went there recently and thought it was sort of tired, still doing the same stuff and yes, still doing it well, but no longer the bees knees. For starters laksa and Hokien mee are hardly exotic any more and there are plenty of other players even in the market surrounds who are doing it as well or better. Wander into the 'new ' food court and there you are.<br/ <br/ And the novelty of dealing with the fearsome lady at the counter could wear thin very quickly.

Asian Gourmet has been a staple in the same location for years, consistently serving delicious food that keeps customers coming back, leaving no table unoccupied. The laksa is a must-try dish, with bowls continually being sent out from the kitchen. The broth is rich and flavorful, clearly made with care and attention.

This restaurant has remained exactly the same since I first visited many years ago. The food is always fresh due to the high number of customers savoring the delicious dishes available. I especially love their char kway teow and laksa. It's nothing extravagant, just simply great food done right. Occasionally, there can be a long wait for a table, but be patient—it's definitely worth it.
