The Duke Hotel - Adelaide

Food was quite average here. I had the Three Little Pigs burger with chips and lime aioli. This set me back $20. The burger was described as pork and fennel seed pattie with crispy prosciutto, smoke-house, bacon, onion jam, lettuce, tomato and chipotle mayo on a toasted brioche bun. Sounds mouth watering, but was a let-down. The burger was dry and lacked flavour, there was barely any onion jam or chipolte mayo and the bun was average. Halfway through eating my burger, I found that the bottom of the bun was dripping with grease (despite the burger being so dry). The chips and lime aioli however were really nice.

Been sitting here for an hour waiting for lunch which was pre ordered. What tha!! If u can't get enough staff to accommodate lunch time patrons and serve up in the traditional lunch hour .... don't bother. It's now 1.25 pm still no food n I have to be back at work in 5. Have now asked for takeaway container in the hope my order will get here in time for me to transfer my lunch n eat on the run back to work. I don't think that tactic is going to work either ..... Maybe getting my money back half an hour ago would have been the best tactic.... Still hungry

Visited here to attend an amazing upstairs wedding reception. Really 5 star venue. The ambiance and decor is very inviting; spacious bar, dining and dancing
