The spicy tuna has no spices, and if it even, it would be stuffed by the gummy texture of raw panko into the roll. They put our sushi on our hot items for taking, so it was warm when we arrived home.
Solid sushi in a rural city. Service is not great. The prices are a little high. Sushi is better than grocery sushi at meijer. Don't expect the world, but do you expect somewhere in the middle and you? I'm happy.
*tried this place again due to good reviews, it is still TERRIBLE* Restaurant employees and owners could not take care of quality or customer satisfaction because there is no competition. Soon I'm afraid there'll be no sushi in Adrian. I'm not sure if people say this is the best sushi they've ever eaten, ever trying sushi everywhere. Since this is the only sushi place in the city, are perhaps all these 5 star ratings of people who have never left Adrian,mi in their entire life? It's LOWER as a grocery store. Arrived to a certain pick-up time for my order and was said it would be an additional 20 min, then lasted 30 min while I was sitting in my car. Not busy. Hands down the worst soup I've ever eaten. Portions of soup and sushi were miniscule... what's going on? Sushi package in Pic for size comparison, you do not see any illusion, SIX pieces of sushi (an entire role) are the size of a disposable soy package. That's ridiculous. You should be ashamed!!!
My friend and I were desperate for sushi, we usually eat in very beautiful sushi places and travel to larger cities for it, but the pandemic made it difficult? This is the worst place I've ever eaten. Is it basically food business quality? Probably worse. Whole foods have better sushi than that. I've never been sick of eating sushi, and that made me and my friend sick. Nothing tasted fresh, some fish tasted bad. What a farewell, I was hoping to have a walk nearby, but I definitely won? not come back after I got sick.
Loved the sushi (got 5 different rolls). Covid safe, takeout only!
