Changos Locos - Afton

Pros: Food is really good. Like, restore your life energy good. Cons: Owner can 't seem to decide when they want to be open. Of the last 6 or 7 times that I 've tried to get food there (and Google shows them being Open I have only successfully gotten food once. Last week it said they were open for a few hours during dinner (they weren 't . This week the hours have changed, showing that they are supposed to open at 9am (they aren 't . It 's disheartening to call or come by when you guys are supposed to be open and... nothing. If the food wasn 't so good, I 'd have probably stopped by now.

My girlfriend and I were driving through Oklahoma and we stopped off at this Mexican restaurant. We heard good things about the restaurant so we had to try it. The food and service was exceptional!! I highly recommend you try this place. All the food looked good, but I had to get my favorite: a carne asada taco and a chicken burrito. Was so good we ordered more for the road!!

Best breakfast burrito I have had! It reminded me of the famously delish Mexican restaurants in the mission district of San Francisco.

First...I would definitely give this restaurant more than 5 stars if I could! Absolutely amazing food. This place is quaint (hole in the wall). They have a limited food selection however, everyone's favorites are there. The owner makes the meats fresh everyday! Who does that any more? So, you choose from the list of available meats to add to your favorite menu item. We both had the chorizo and it was perfect. I ordered the quesadillas and my husband the breakfast burrito! Yummy! I'm not much of a tea drinker but the tea they make from scratch was delicious! Stop in and try it. You won't regret it!

Excellent food! Changos offers unique and incredible Mexican fare unlike anything else in the entire Grand Lake area. Any time you find yourself nearby looking for a fantastic fresh made lunch I strongly recommend Changos Locos.
