Uncle Ali's Fish - Aghir

Super tasty seafoods, couldn't be any fresher. There is no menu as the restaurant offers as per the catch of the day. The portions are generous, 8 very big gambas fries salad cost us TND 40 TND. The fish is only 20 TND.

Fresh fish, I've been in Tunisia a week now and hands down this was the best food I've had.

Excellent spot! First, the driveway there was through an oasis, gotta be careful. They give small appetizer plates for free, and they were delicious. Both waiters were friendly, smiling and making jokes. When we were there, it was around 2:30 pm so was not busy time. The fish was so fresh and the portions were reasonably large. Happy we made it there!

We got the tip from our hotel reception. And it was seriously AMAZING. The food just super authentic and delicious and fresher and this you just cant get it. They don’t have a menu when you sit down they tell you what they have. In our case it was big shrimps, sea bream and sea bass. We took a mix of shrimps and sea bream and a bottle of water and 2 tea and it came out super fast. And all of this was just 80 dinar (about 25 euro’s at the time). But I don’t recommend going when it is dark. It’s very remote and there not really a lot of taxi’s plus you don’t have the breathtaking views! So go there for lunch or something like that but go there when is light out. But don’t mis this little gem of a restaurant.

We had the Dorad King Prawns must say it was the best seafood we have had so far! The fish was so soft fresh it melted in my mouth. The Prawns were massive full of flavour! My husband loved the Harissa they served, its homemade you can tell!!! Loved it.
