Chez Jean - AGRIGENTO

We arrived at 22.00, a littlebit late. There was a group of eight and a single man, while there is place for about 150 people, I guess. The establishment looks warm and inviting. Only pity that white lights illimunate the area. The food: we bot had a pizza. I had a standaard One, pizza pazza, which was very tasteful. My partner had also a standard one but asked for some extra's. It was no problem. Her's was also great. So we are satisfied of the food. The ambiance could be a slight beter.

This is a typical basic family restaurant, well patronised by locals. Despite its large size, which often means mediocre food, in this case the food was fine and very good value. We both had a risotto, follwoed by sea-bass for me and lamb cutlets for my wife. We could not really fault the food and the service was fast and friendly. Our bill came to 40 euros, including drinks. Our only complaint, as in many of these types of establishment, was the presence of a very distracting TV set.

Food was grate. me and my wife took both pasta with different sea food. also we took litre of house wine (red). cost was really reasonable. both meals cost 10 eur and litre of house wine cost 7 eur. This place I would recommend. Wine was so good that we bought one bottle as a takeaway.
