We had 2 jugs of ok red wine and 4 different tapas for 20 euros. Cheese was tasteless, but other food was reasonable. If there is a bunch of you, then this place is fab...maybe not a romantic meal for 2 though!
I really love this place. It is quite rustic and the food is, always, completely delicious. I dream about the roast pork....that is how good it is. The barbecue ribs are amazing, the thinly cut potato chips are perfection and they serve the best albondigas I have ever had. It is really something to write home about...and all for a reasonable price.
I've been to this restaurant 3 times in the past month. The first time by myself to eat tapas and watch a soccer match on TV. I had such a good experience that I invited my wife to join me for a Champion's League match and food. We had tapas and wine. The wine was 1.50 for a big pour and was the best house wine we have had in Aguilas. I had a tinto choice of Rioja, Ribera del Duero, or Junmilla. My wife drank a Verdejo from Rueda. Our favorite tapas were the eggplant, meatballs, and caracoles. We came again today with a friend from America for a lunch tapas and wine. They were excellent again. Having drunk all the house reds my favorite is from Jumilla. The staff is friendly, the wine and food is good, and they are inexpensive with tapas at 2 euros. I already look forward to the next Champion's League match and coming back to El Rinconcico.
