La Posada Del Galeón - Águilas

We ate here twice during our week long visit to Aguilas. The first time was lovely. My son and I ordered the Guinness burger and it was delicious! My son 's girlfriend had the special sandwich and it was enormous! She could only manage half of it. I 'm by no means fluent in Spanish far from it, but I managed to ask if we could take the leftover sandwich away with us, which the waitress very kindly wrapped up for us to take home for later. On our next visit a couple of days later, we all ordered the special sandwich plus a couple of drinks. At this point the waitress started speaking to me in Spanish, I recognised nachos but that was about it. I looked at her and smiled apologetically and said no comprendi and she just looked at me with hatred, shook her head and walked off! I felt humiliated and angry at the same time did she not want our business?! It really spoilt my visit to Aguilas, which is a shame as I should not let one RUDE waitress get to me, but I could not stop thinking about how awful she made me feel. I thought I did pretty well asking for our meals and drinks on both occasions in Spanish, and always with a please and thank you. This venue would have got 5 stars for it 's location and food, had it not been for this rude lady!

La tostada que me sirvieron estaba muy buena. El bar es muy bonito, con vistas al mar.

Excelente lugar para desayunar en la Playa de las Delicias. El servicio puede ser algo lento de vez en cuando, pero el lugar es perfecto para disfrutar de unas tostadas con café a un buen precio. El ambiente es muy agradable y acogedor.

A mí me encanta este sitio, atención buena, calidad precio buena, situación buena. No dan comidas ni cenas, pero tienen un montón de tostas, pintxos o como los llaméis muy ricos y a un precio bueno. Desayunos de 10, con distintos panes... Lo dicho, super recomendable.
