Miramar - Águilas

We reserved a table for my in-laws 30th wedding anniversary. We arrived and they said that we could sit either on the beach or at a table facing the wall! So much for a sea view... The waiter then said they tried calling my father in law to tell him in advance but nobody had...another Spanish family turns up 15mins later and they told them the same tale! We later heard them saying they would put a load of tables on the beach if necessary to get the most out of the day despite telling us and everyone else that they couldn 't move our table for a nicer view to celebrate the anniversary. Waiters were incredibly rude, pushing us to order dessert when we had barely started our beers and later on tried to take our gin tonics away to clear the table when they were still half full! Paella was soupy with barely any fish in it. The only thing the waiters are bothered about was how much money the guriris would spend and how fast they could get us out of the restaurant. Any other restaurant in Calabardina is miles better than this one!

Great food and very reasonable price. Good menu with lots of good choices. Good setting and good service.

You would get better value for money and more satisfaction standing in the street ripping up €20 notes. I went to this restaurant with my family and friends for a meal the food we order turned up all at different times very small portions and many items missing from the plates have ask for cutlery many times and when they did come it was incomplete, the staff were incompetent, I spoke to the manager about the food and the service which he admitted was poor but made no attempt to apologise or rectify this going forward. The only positive was the house wine was drinkable. Never again!

Estuvimos para tomar algo y cenar, pero lo que pedimos pese a ser sencillo estaba bien cocinado y lo dicho por todos, estar al lado del mar con esas vistas es un previlegio

El sitio muy cómodo y al lado del mar. El servicio bueno para el jaleo que había. Reservamos y no nos hicieron esperar. Pero las raciones escasas, tuvimos que pedir una fritura para no quedar con hambre. Las gambas las devolvimos a cocina por que estaban crudas y los calamares de la fritura duros. Relación calidad precio mala. He comido en mejores sitios en la zona. Para lo que comimos me pareció caro. Pero el servicio y el sitio bien. La cantidad muy pobre para lo que vale. Éramos dos adultos y tres niños.
